Programs
Play & Learn is Gymboree's globally recognized and patented program. It offers children a discovery area where they can develop movement, problem-solving, and imagination skills through play. Themes that are renewed every three weeks (Camping, Math Explorers, Space Adventures, Under the Sea) enable children to learn through movement with activities such as climbing, balancing, jumping, and teamwork.
During this process, children:
- Strengthen their motor skills,
- Internalize concepts of balance, distance, and direction through experience,
- Learn colors, numbers, and shapes through active play,
- Develop their creativity and self-confidence through imitation, role-playing, and symbolic
Play & Learn is not just a physical class—it is a learning laboratory that brings together the child's body, mind, and imagination. Every movement triggers a thought, and every discovery sparks a new learning experience.
Gymboree Music is a global program where children explore rhythm, melody, language, and culture through joyful play.
Every three weeks, new themes introduce children to different musical styles — Latin Rhythms, African Beats, Asian Sounds, Classical Melodies, Disco, R&B, and Rock & Roll.
These themes help children experience both cultural diversity and the multifaceted nature of music.
In each class, children:
· Listen to and recognize authentic musical styles from around the world,
· Play instruments such as maracas, rhythm sticks, castanets, bells, tambourines, and drums,
· Express music through dance, body movement, and dramatic play,
· Develop language awareness and listening skills by following repeated lyrics and patterns,
· Strengthen teamwork, cooperation, and leadership while creating music together.
The program focuses not only on listening but also on feeling and producing music.
Children dance to samba rhythms, jump with the energy of rock & roll, and discover tempo through classical melodies.
Music here becomes more than an art form — it becomes a bridge between movement, emotion, culture, and communication.
Each lesson ends with the familiar “Goodbye Song”, providing a warm closure to a joyful musical journey where children don’t just hear music — they live it.
English Learning Lab provides children with a natural and interactive environment to learn English as a living language.
Each lesson is supported by smart board technology and digital content that enhance engagement and comprehension.
Themes such as My House, Food Fun, Animals, and My Family are built around familiar, real-life concepts that children can easily relate to.
In every class, children explore:
· Phonics and sound–letter recognition,
· ABC learning – A is for Apple, B is for Ball, C is for Cat,
· Storytelling and role-play to practice natural language,
· Songs, rhythm, and interactive games that build vocabulary and listening skills.
At the end of each lesson, children share what they have learned during Show & Tell, creating sentences and expressing themselves confidently.
The program ensures that children learn English not by memorizing, but by living it — just like their first language.
Play Lab allows children to experience science through hands-on discovery and joyful experimentation.
Each theme — Zoom!, Roll & Slide, Build It — engages children in observing, testing, and predicting outcomes.
For example, they:
· Test how cars move on ramps,
· Build small boats powered by water or air,
· Explore magnets, balance, color mixing, and light–shadow experiments.
Children learn to ask “What if?” questions, observe results, and share ideas — developing curiosity, focus, and perseverance.
Play Lab cultivates early scientific thinking in a playful, engaging way that encourages exploration and discovery.
Global Kids is a signature Gymboree program that helps children explore world cultures through art, music, dance, storytelling, and play.
The program runs in three-week cycles, each dedicated to a different continent or region.
For example, in Northern Lights, children discover the cultures of Canada and Scandinavia; in Africa Adventures, they explore African rhythms, colors, and movement.
Each class invites children to:
· Learn a local greeting or “Hello” word,
· Try a traditional dance or song,
· Create art inspired by local crafts (Inuit masks, tulip crafts, African drum patterns),
· Participate in a World Table activity inspired by traditional food or color themes,
· Record their experience in their My Travel Journal with drawings and stamps.
Through these experiences, children not only learn about the world but also develop empathy, cultural curiosity, and a true sense of being global citizens.
Lego Lab is a construction-based learning atelier that supports fine-motor development, logical thinking, and creativity.
Each lesson is theme-based — My Community, Healthcare Heroes, Transportation, and more.
Using LEGO Education Preschool My XL World sets, children:
· Build cities, hospitals, fire stations, parks, or villages,
· Work together, share roles, and collaborate (“You be the doctor, I’ll be the builder”),
· Learn about social values such as helping, sharing, and empathy through what they create.
In Lego Lab, children don’t just build; they think, plan, and solve problems.
The program naturally introduces early engineering and STEAM concepts, nurturing creativity and teamwork.
Fitness & Fun is a movement-based program designed to develop body awareness, balance, stamina, and coordination through rhythm, music, and play.
Each lesson combines physical education with music and teamwork.
Children participate in:
· Warm-up games, stretching, and rhythmic dance,
· Mini obstacle courses and balance challenges,
· Group activities such as ball balance, team circuits, and parachute games,
· Breathing and mindfulness exercises that enhance focus and emotional regulation.
Through these experiences, children not only release energy but also learn teamwork, discipline, and cooperation.
Each class ends with “Goodbye Stretch” and the “Fitness Fun Song”, creating a positive, energetic closure to a healthy and active day.
