About Us
Gymboree Play & Music has been shaping early childhood education in over 40 countries for more than 45 years. Based on child development science, our “Whole Child” approach supports emotional, social, cognitive, physical, and creative areas in a balanced way. At our Izmir International Preschool campus, we aim to develop children's self-confidence, curiosity, communication, and collaboration skills by providing a safe, joyful, and engaging learning environment. Our daily programs balance art, music, outdoor play, and project work to provide children with a fun and educational development process.

Sun Garden & Moon Garden
Our outdoor spaces are a natural extension of the classroom and an integral part of daily learning.
Sun Garden is a vibrant, themed learning space where children discover through play. The themed playhouses in the garden—such as the Patisserie, Fire Station, Kitchen & Construction House, and Grocery Store—along with a special Harvest Area, offer children opportunities to learn while immersed in nature. Here, children plant seeds, water plants, and watch them grow—thus developing environmental awareness, patience, and a sense of responsibility. At the same time, this area provides a safe environment for sensory exploration, symbolic play, and free interaction; it nurtures both children's curiosity and their sense of calm.
Moon Garden is a calmer discovery area that supports imagination. With dim lighting, star-themed elements, and soothing play stations, it supports children's focus, relaxation, and internal regulation skills. Through sensory paths, quiet play corners, and sky-themed activities, children both dream and find their own rhythm.
